Guided intake
Tell us the shape of your return, not the details.
Checkboxes and counts only. Your name, ID numbers, contact details, financial amounts and documents do not belong here; they go through Keystone, using secure instructions Tax Service NJ supplies separately.
All backgrounds welcome. We coordinate intake for simple to reasonably complex returns; professional accountants through our Keystone preparation arrangement finalize preparation, with CPA or IRS-enrolled-agent review before filing. E-filing only—no printing, mailing or handwritten-signature filing. Eligibility and any rejections must be resolved before electronic acceptance. We do not provide bookkeeping or payroll; referrals are separate. Intake records optional bank-product interest only. A review result is not acceptance of specialized work.
First: optional residency and filing-status guidance
An outdated or invalid screening attachment was removed. Repeat the filing-status questions in this intake to include current answers, or continue without screening.
Part of your intake · Federal tax year 2025
Let’s work out your filing status.
For personal returns, start with tax residency—not your visa label. Temporary workers, students, green card holders and refugees may have different residency periods or exceptions. Naturalized citizens generally follow U.S.-citizen filing rules. Use the optional residency check if unsure, then answer the filing-status questions. A preparer must verify results; no election or filing authorization is made here.
Already know your status, filing a business return, or using another tax year? You can skip these optional questions. Your quote and intake selections are never silently replaced.
